Weld DA Helps Wrap Presents for Migrant Christmas Fiesta

GREELEY, Colo. (Weld DA) -- For 18 years, the Migrant Christmas Fiesta has spread the good cheer by giving gifts to thousands of migrant children in the community, and this year, the organization returns for its 19th annual celebration.

On Saturday, a dozen employees from the Weld County District Attorney's Office pitched in and helped wrap hundreds of presents for the upcoming fiesta.

"This is one of our favorite times of the year," said District Attorney Michael Rourke. "This might be the only Christmas these children get, so we're always thrilled and excited to see their faces and the joy it brings them."

This year's fiesta will be held Saturday, December 17th at Northridge High School in Greeley.
