On Friday, October 27th, Weld District Attorney Michael J. Rourke issued a letter and report to Greeley Police Chief Adam Turk in regard to the officer involved shooting of Ernesto Ceja-Jimenez.
The 19th Judicial District Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) conducted the investigation which was provided to the District Attorney’s Office.
Based on the thorough CIRT investigation, DA Rourke has determined that Investigator Oliveros was justified in discharging his firearm at Ceja-Jimenez during the incident on September 8th, 2023.
