GREELEY, Colo. (Weld County D.A.) – Two people have been charged in a case involving the deadly shooting of a three-year-old female in Frederick over Mother’s Day weekend.
The Frederick Police Department issued summons to both Elaine and Brett Eskam charging each with six counts of Unlawful Storage of a Firearm, which are class 2 misdemeanors.
On May 8, the Frederick Police Department responded to a 911 call of a shooting inside a home. When they arrived they found a three-year-old female who had been shot. The child was later pronounced deceased at a local hospital.
The summons direct them to appear in court on July 18th.
No additional information will be released at this time.
