Trevor Pellerite Sworn In

The Weld County District Attorney’s Office welcomes a new Deputy District Attorney in County Court.

On Tuesday morning, Chief Judge James Hartmann swore in Trevor Pellerite as the newest Deputy District Attorney.

Pellerite grew up in St. Paul, Minnesota and earned a Bachelor of Arts in English Writing degree from Northern Michigan University in 2010. He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Colorado Law School in 2015.

In 2016, he started his own law firm, where he focused on family law, criminal and general litigation for modest means clients.

When he’s not practicing law, he serves as the president of the Colorado Prairie Initiative, a non-profit organization working to conserve and restore the prairies of eastern Colorado.
