Weld deputy charged with stalking, harassment

GREELEY, Colo. (Weld County D.A.) – The Weld County District Attorney’s Office has filed formal charges for a Weld County deputy accused of stalking and harassment.

John Maedel has been formally charged with:

COUNT 1: STALKING (F5)

COUNT 2: HARASSMENT (M2)

COUNT 3: HARASSMENT (M3)

An advisement hearing is scheduled for June 13 at 9:00 a.m. in Division 17.

Because this is a pending prosecution, no other information will be released at this time.
