No charges to be filed in Greeley shooting

GREELEY, Colo. (Weld County D.A.) – On Friday, June 18, Weld District Attorney Michael Rourke issued a letter and report to Greeley Police Chief Mark Jones in regard to an officer involved shooting of Devin Goneau on April 3rd in Greeley.

 The 19th Judicial District Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) conducted the investigation which was provided to the District Attorney’s Office.

Based on the thorough CIRT investigation, DA Rourke has determined the Greeley officer was legally justified in discharging his firearm at Goneau during the incident.
