GREELEY, Colo. (Weld County D.A.) – A Weld County jury convicted a man Thursday of stealing about $150K from more than a dozen victims in Northern Colorado.
Jamie Bock, 46, was found guilty of nine counts of theft for scamming 15 victims between November 2014 and August 2017. Twelve of those victims were married couples.
During that time frame, Bock would post job ads on the internet to build pole barns, fences, and perform concrete work.
He would then make contact with potential clients, collect a large amount of money as a down payment and material costs, but never finish the jobs he started.
A sentencing hearing is scheduled for October 10th at 1 p.m. in Division 15. He faces up to 66 years in the Colorado Department of Corrections.
Deputy District Attorneys Andrew Brown and Matthew Peterson prosecuted this case.
