GREELEY, Colo. (Weld County D.A.) – On Wednesday, July 15th, Weld County District Attorney Michael Rourke issued a letter and report to Greeley Police Chief Adam Turk regarding the officer involved shooting of Izaiah Tacorante on March 28, 2026.
The 19th Judicial District Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) conducted the investigation which was provided to the District Attorney’s Office.
Based on the thorough CIRT investigation, DA Rourke has determined that criminal charges will not be filed against Sergeant Samantha Brown or Officers Ryan Brauch, Adam Cronquist, or Alfredo Bocanegra.
