Hudson sergeant cleared in December deadly shooting

On Thursday, February 24th, Weld District Attorney Michael Rourke issued a letter and report to Hudson Police Chief Scott Sedgwick in regard to the officer involved shooting of Collin Roberts.

The 19th Judicial District Critical Incident Response Team (CIRT) conducted the investigation which was provided to the District Attorney’s Office.

Based on the thorough CIRT investigation, DA Rourke has determined that Sergeant Jamison was justified in discharging his firearm at Roberts during the incident on December 14, 2022. You can read the full letter and report here.(PDF, 788KB)
