Newest Weld County Deputy District Attorney Sworn In

Matthew Peterson Sworn In

GREELEY, Colo. (Weld County D.A.) – The Weld County District Attorney’s Office welcomes a new Deputy District Attorney in County Court.

On Tuesday morning, Chief Judge James Hartmann swore in Matthew Peterson as the newest Deputy District Attorney.
Peterson comes to Northern Colorado from Cheyenne, Wyoming, where he spent the past year-and-a-half as an associate attorney at Dray, Dyekman, Reed & Healey, P.C. law firm.

He received his Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law in 2015. In 2012, Peterson earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Grand Valley State University.
