GREELEY, Colo. (Weld County D.A.) – On Friday, October 05, 2018, Weld District Attorney Michael Rourke issued a report to Weld County Sheriff Steve Reams, in regard to the officer involved shooting of Ismeldo Junior Arredondo (DOB: 12/26/77) on August 15, 2018 in Weld County.
The Critical Incident Response team conducted the investigation which was provided to the District Attorney’s Office.
Based on the thorough investigation, Mr. Rourke has determined the deputies were justified for firing at Mr. Arredondo after he shot a deputy.
No further information will be released at this time due to pending litigation in Mr. Arredondo’s case.
